Repaint workshop by Holly Miner

This is the workshop we have been waiting for. Holly Miner was our guide through the Wonderful World of Repainting Fashion Dolls. 17 wannabe doll artists got together at Coutside Health Club in Los Gatos, CA to share a yummy catered lunch. We then got down to some serious and not so serious repainting.
Holly walked us through all the steps from taking off the existing paint, to applying doll sized lashes to the finished product. We learned about brushes and paint, chalks, pallettes, blending techniques....the list goes on.

This meeting was fun!! We had no time restraints and members took as much time as needed. Dolls that were enhanced were Gene, Elle, Tyler, Sydney and Betsy. Conversation flowed and covered everything from movies, doll related books, conventions, Gene's twisty waist, and what dolls we are collecting these days.

Luncheon Menu:
California Buffet Sauteed breasts of chicken in a shallot-chardonney sauce. Wild rice and orzo tossed with cranberries
Roasted maple glazed carrots
assorted soft drinks, water, and coffee.

The next meeting will be hosted by Jackie in CA.
