in as amatuer or professional The four categories were: Evening
Wear of the 50's (no repaints) Day Wear of the 50's (no repaints)
Movie Role Evening Wear (repaints ok) Movie Role Day Wear (repaints
ok) Also special "Judges Choice" awards were given, as well
as "Mels Favorite" and the "Peoples Choice". The category winners
received small red, white, or blue ribbons with small medallions
attatched to them. The medallions were the same as the convertible
50's flashback pins received at convention. "The Judges Choice",
"Mels Favorite", and "Peoples Choice" were large award ribbons.
