A Paris Holiday

My husband Larry and I (Rebecca) were in Paris for a full week and it just flew by. We walked, ate the wonderful Parisian food, and tried to make every minute count. The thing that impressed Larry the most was the Louvre and the sheer size of some of the gigantic masterpieces. He also liked the tiny Smart Cars, and wished he could bring one home. The things that stick in my mind are sunday mass at Notre Dame, hearing the nuns sing at Sacre Couer, the museums architecture, and the food ! Click on any picture for more pictures and information.

A sampleing of some of the well loved museums of Paris-- Louvre,Rodin,Picasso, and Orsay museums.
A few shots of our visit to Fontainebleau. This was one of our favorite side trips out of the city. It was a half day trip and wonderfully uncrowded.
We saw an opera here at the Garnier and it was heavenly!
