This was one of the funnest parts of the convention. The tables were decorated with Gene sized cowbow hats on the napkins and Gene centerpieces in 3 different cowgirl designs. Attendees got to put on there western duds, and kick up a good old time. A western singer was featured and a free drawing was done by children in the audience. Among the ton of loot given that evening was more pieces of clothing for Gene's wardrobe. Black and white skirts, boleros, and pants, plus more jewelry.

The fun continued at the saturday luncheon. The red carpet was literally rolled out.
60 Ashton Drake LE Madra's graced the tables and she was a beauty. This centerpiece doll had to be purchased by the winner, but it was definately worth it. After lunch we were treated to a skit by Kirk Swenk, which had us rolling in the aisles. There were many loot give aways, but this one stands out-someone won the entire 2001 line! Ashton Drake continues to shower us with doll loot. The give away outfit at this event was a Fashion Boulevard outfit reproducing the white gown worn in the movie "Tulsa". I have it pictures above modeled by Madra, with the jewelry made by Harry Kline. The outfit was created by Becky Geis. The pins on each strap are part of the convention give away jewelry done by Marcia Friend. After the luncheon there was a screening of "Tulsa" complete with freshly popped popcorn.
