When Alex found the wonderful fabrics in Grandma Nola's trunk, she couldn't wait to see them become wonderful new dresses for her visit to New Orleans. Wrapped in tissue was a bolt of the most lustrous fabris. When she unfurled the bolt of cloth, it shimmered like liquid gold. She went to Nola's favorite dressmaker, "Little Angela", whose mother was rumoured to have been a voodoo priestess. She was sure that "Little Angela" would work her own special magic with the fabric, and she did. The gold dress shimmered and shown in the light. The elegant decolletage showed her long neck to perfect advantage, and the long train made her feel like a fairy tale princess. The silhouette, though, was strictly"au courant".
