Sight
Seeing in New Orleans
|
I
only had a day and a half so chose a City Tour/Riverboat tour one
day and then went into Bourbon Street and the French Quarter the
next day. I noticed the rich smell of magnolias most everywhere
I went. The easy going relaxed nature of the people who live there
was very appealing and nice to be part of.
High lights were my first taste of Jombalaya at a restaurant in
the French Quarter, hearing the the street jazz players there, walking
up and down Bourbon street watching the party, seeing Spanish moss
adorning the oaks at the park and taking a riverboat cruise! |
