the BMAA award winning dolls were exhibited. This was also
the day for the Gene and Barbie doll design contest. There
was huge sales room with many booths set up. There were quite
a few Barbie items displayed or for sale well as Gene, Tyler,
Brenda Star and others. During this time there were 4 workshops.
At the end of the day the winners of the design contest were
announced, and a raffle was held. Among the raffle items were
jewelry, a redone Barbie doll, a beautiful Gene doll donated
by the Arizona Gene Club, a pink "Meet me in Paris"
doll as well as the coveted "Meet me in Paris" blue
version.
