Montmartre
The Montmartre area is the highest elevation in Paris and offers a 35 mile view on a clear day. A small group of us had a lunch at a restaurant there that is 100 years old. We then strolled through where artists were creating and selling their paintings.

We then took the funicular up to Basillique du Sacre-Coeur

We then did more Paris shopping. We visited a chocolate shop and found great chunks of macadamian encrusted chocolate with a little hammer by it to break off what you wanted. Joanne found a great Gene sized leather suitcase. Pilar found pates and mustards to bring home to her family. I found 3 prints to hang in my home. All and all it was a great shoppping day.
