During the Luncheon Kathy Moreau and Eric Chatillon ran the program. There were presentations by: Eric Chatillon ("Barbies first steps in France"),Kevin Muligan and Pricilla Wardlow ("Pumps 'n Purses), Mel Odom and Joan Greene (The History of the Gene Doll)and Robert Tonnor ("Fashion Forward" a slide presentation on the history of American Fashion Dolls. "Joyeux Anniversaire Gene" was celebrated during the luncheon by having a huge structure that had cakes and sparklers on it wheeled in and everyone singing Happy Birthday Gene. This was to celebrate her 5th anniversary. At this time a life sized Gene came in wearing Premiere.

Next came the 'Results of the BMAA results and awards by Karen Caviale and Marlene Mura of Barbie Bazaar. What came next was one of the highlight of the afternoon.The Gene and Barbie Fashion Show..........Here are some some pictures of the lovely models.

More Convention pictures .....The saturday luncheon lasted more than 6 hours! Isn't that amazing??Most conventioneers amused themselves admiring the many dolls that people had brought, visiting with old friends and making new ones.
