Santa Fe Celebration

On April 24, 1999, there was a fabulous birthday breakfast for Gene in Santa Fe! Mel Odom, Gene's creator, and Joan of the Gene Team were on hand to present a very special, very limited Gene doll to the 250 people in attendance. This event was one of the many things going on during the spectacular Santa Fe Doll Art symposium and show. This special doll is wearing a version of "Sunset Celebration" in the colors of the Santa Fe sky. Designed by Vince Nowell. |
