Tylers makeover

Before Tyler hit the hair salon she had her make-up done by Christine Quick

Her waist length hair is taken down from the pony tail, lightly washed,
and cut slightly longer than shoulder length. The front is slightly angled.
The cut is completed with long layers.



Next the hair is wrapped in white chenille stems. It helps to sandwich the ends in endpapers.



Next boiling water is poured into a pyrex bowl. You probably should wait a minute or two for the water to cool down before the next step.
Tyler's hair is dipped and held in the water for 20-30 seconds.



Tyler grabs a good book puts up her feet and has a manicure and pedicure.
Her hair is left overnight and the chenille stems are taken out in the morning. The hair drys for the rest of the day and combed out in the evening.



The hair came out feeling greasey so I rewashed it in dawn dishwashing liquid. It was also too curly so I reset it on blue sponge rollers and did the boiled water dip for 20 seconds. This time I took it down in less than an hour (the hair was still wet) and started working it into a bob, recutting it to hit chin length.
